The Power of Prayer
Devotional: In 2 Kings 20:1-11, we see King Hezekiah facing a dire situation. His life was hanging by a thread, and in his desperation, he turned to God in prayer. Hezekiah’s prayer was not just a cry for help; it was a reminder to God of his faithfulness. This story teaches us that prayer is a powerful response to impossibility. When we face challenges that seem insurmountable, we can turn to God, knowing that He hears and responds to our prayers. Hezekiah’s life was extended, and he was delivered from his enemies because he trusted in God’s power and timing.
Verse: ‘Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”’ – Matthew 19:26
