Trusting God’s Timing

Devotional: God’s response to Hezekiah’s prayer was not immediate, but it was timely. He extended Hezekiah’s life and promised deliverance from the Assyrians. This teaches us to trust God’s timing and methods. We may not always understand why things happen the way they do or why answers to our prayers are delayed, but we can trust that God is always at work. His timing is perfect, and His methods are beyond our understanding. Trust that God knows what is best for you and that He is working all things for your good.

Verse: ‘In those days Hezekiah became ill and was at the point of death. The prophet Isaiah son of Amoz went to him and said, “This is what the Lord says: Put your house in order, because you are going to die; you will not recover.”’ – 2 Kings 20:1

Question: How can you practice patience and trust in God’s timing in your current situation?

No matter what the uncertainties are in my life,
I know in whom I hope today. #Virtualamen

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to trust in Your perfect timing and methods. Even when I don’t understand, give me the patience to wait on You and the faith to believe that You are working all things for my good. Amen.
