True spiritual ministry has nothing to do with personality, competition, or popularity. It has to do with preaching the Word, praying, and saving souls. The vessel used is like a whistle that God picks up and blows through for a time and then lays down. It is the Holy Spirit, not the whistle, that is the dynamic factor. We are favored if used, but humbled to know that at any time He may wither pick up or set down. We can know that it is the Holy Spirit blowing through the whistle when the message exalts Christ, not the whistle.
